My dear friends – I could not have not posted my Christmas wishes today (smiles). It's the most loved festival in our home; especially Pari's.
So, here's wishing you all hearty Christmas greetings. I'm sure you are having a joyful time with your family and friends.
I'll see you all in a couple of days with plenty of ideas and artsy creations.
Love and hugs from Rashmie and Pari (Avie waves too!).
Sharing a few pics of our Christmas mantel piece. Loved decorating it. The candles, as you all know, are my favourite. So are the dried leaves!
I can't have enough of those colourful, aromatic candles in all shapes and sizes.
Enjoy these pics when you find time…
Lot of pieces on our mantel piece are made by Pari and me, including the Christmas trees and the leaf decoupaged candle holders.
Pari made this petal decoupage votive candle holder inspired by the ones I made earlier on.
Pari made this owl in her clay class – with help from her clay teacher.
Those pink woolen beauties that you see – those are worn by the 'banjara' (nomadic) tribe of Rajasthan (North West India). I love these and bought a few for Pari, yesterday, to dress her up.
And – my eternal love – dried leaves! I think if I didn't have any other possession, I could decorate the house with just those. (wink!)
The big egg in the pic above (on the left) is a REAL ostrich egg that we got all the way from South Africa! Phew.
Isn't our mantel exuding so much good cheer?
Soak it up, friends and have an enlightening day!
