I'm super excited to share with you all that I have a guest post today at the Crafty Crow where we contributed a craft based on a story book that Pari really likes.
The craft – an accordion book with five elephants made using five different art techniques is based on the children's classic - 'The Saggy Baggy Elephant'.
Pari enjoyed herself thoroughly doing this art/craft as it involved so many fun art techniques including:
- Eric Carle Style Tissue Painting/Collaging
- Styrofoam Mosaic Art
- Crayon Rays Rubbing
- Leaf Printing
- Tube with Yarn Painting
To top it all, Elephant is our favourite animal and we love making accordion books any day.
So, a resounding high five!
Hop over and check out the step-by-step instructions and picturest at The Craft Crow.
I have to add that The Crafty Crow is an amazing resource specializing in craft/art for children selected from around the web – by Cassi. If you don't know about this site yet, you must check it out.
