A Handmade Accordion Book with Five Artsy Elephants

I'm super excited to share with you all that I have a guest post today at the Crafty Crow where we contributed a craft based on a story book that Pari really likes.

The craft – an accordion book with five elephants made using five different art techniques is based on the children's classic – 'The Saggy Baggy Elephant'.

Pari enjoyed herself thoroughly doing this art/craft as it involved so many fun art techniques including:

  1. Eric Carle Style Tissue Painting/Collaging
  2. Styrofoam Mosaic Art
  3. Crayon Rays Rubbing
  4. Leaf Printing
  5. Tube with Yarn Painting

To top it all, Elephant is our favourite animal and we love making accordion books any day.

So, a resounding high five!

Hop over and check out the step-by-step instructions and picturest at The Craft Crow.

I have to add that The Crafty Crow is an amazing resource specializing in craft/art for children selected from around the web – by Cassi. If you don't know about this site yet, you must check it out.
